Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing used for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Rei = Holy/Spirit/Nature and Ki = Energy (Universal Life Force) Energy Healing involves direct application of Chi for the purpose of strengthening the clients energy system (aura).

Reiki is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.
